John A Hewitt claims the right to be recognized as the originator of the system of ideas described on this site and in the book "The Architecture of Thought: A New Look at Human Evolution." The system to which this claim applies includes, but is not limited to, bioepistemic evolution itself - the use of data, rather than genes, as a foundation for evolutionary theory, the data flow analysis of evolving systems and the manner in which this form of evolutionary theory identifies ranks of evolution and knowledge production. John A Hewitt claims the right to be recognized as the originator of the applications of bioepistemic evolution described on this site and in the book "The Architecture of Thought: A New Look at Human Evolution." The applications to which this claim applies include, but are not limited to, the uses of bioepistemic evolution in understanding human sexuality, logic and social organization, the identification of elites as social germlines, detection of incongruity as an animal learning mechanism and humor as a social IFF system.
